EPA Delays PFAS Clean Water Act Regulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has significantly lagged in implementing regulations under the Clean Water Act concerning per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), commonly referred to as ‘forever chemicals.’ Originally, the EPA aimed to establish enforceable limits on PFAS in drinking water and surface waters by 2023.
