We take these when we travel so that we can always have safe water. One does have to get used to the sucking action which is required to drink water – but worth the trouble.

Contingency water filters count. These small versions of the “Berkey Black Filters” are foreign made yet attain Berkey’s high quality standards. (Reading some of the reviews concerning clogging; they must be properly dried between uses. No pathogen can get through and most chemical toxins are prevented.
