New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. (“NMCL”) and the James B. Shepherd Trust, the brand owner of Berkey Water Systems, filed a lawsuit against the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) seeking to stop its unjustified treatment and perceived persecution of Berkey Water Filters based on the EPA’s decision to treat Berkey Water Filters as though they are pesticides, rather than water filters. This could take a month or several years to settle. An alternate filter we recommend is: British Berkefeld. Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements are manufactured for New Millennium Concepts, Ltd., as economical replacement filters in lieu of Black Berkey Elements for use in Berkey gravity-fed water filter systems and other brands of gravity-fed water filter systems.
